Buffet 18-20 Alto

$0.00

Here is the Buffet model known best as the "18-20". From the 1940's and the immediate predecessor to the Dynaction model.
This is an original lacquer horn that has aged in the distinctive style that led to the so-called "sparkle" lacquer.
Its a well cared for horn physically and looks absolutely beautiful with the most elaborate engraving that Buffet ever used and some of the most ever by any maker.
Recently overhauled by South Florida Horns, a very good shop. I've seen several fine examples of their first rate work.
You can see the cost of the overhaul just done making it a great bargain.
Comes in a quality replacement case.
For vintage players who appreciate the aesthetic of Paris in the 40's and the horns rich expressive tone this is worth checking out.
Also it is a very lightweight vibrant horn, unlike some of the heavy and cumbersome modern horns. This will appeal to another kind of player.
