Here is a 1951 SML Rev D alto. Its been relacquered as you can see.
The body is in great shape as you can also see with no damage and no repaired damage or resolders.
It has a very recent repad, I don't know by whom, and it is playing well.
The original neck is in very good shape also and the original endplug is included.
The case is in good function shape and unlabled but I believe this was made by Berkeley of London. Other case options also possible.
This is a great deal, factoring the cost of the overhaul you are getting this horn very cheap. It won't need another for years to come.
