Here is one of the latest Mark VI's I've come across and past the end of the run according to most serial number charts. They are both right and wrong for while Selmer had moved into production of the VII by this time it was not a hard fast end for the VI's and for whatever reasons they did continue to overlap for awhile. While this one does not have the VI stamp it is a VI in every respect. It came to me from its original owner a full time professional touring player who bought it as a VI.

Its an original lacquer horn with a recent overhaul with Noyak resonators. My tech went all through it and it is an outstanding example of that rich more contemporary vibe of the later VI altos. Absolutely no issues and ready for serious use.
